    Summary

H.G. Wells' classic science fiction-fantasy story, in which a scientist known only as “The Time Traveller” tells the tale of his journey to the year 802,701 A.D. and beyond, where he witnesses the end of human civilization as we know it, as well as the beginning of the end of the world. This original time-travel story has been copied many times, but never improved upon.

    - Excellent story

I’ve read this book at least five times. Hearing it read aloud to me was a treat. I wish however that there had been only one reader. The first was best. The two following readers had a different rhythm that distracted me at times and their occasional mispronunciation of several words made me cringe. Otherwise, I loved it.

    - Yay!

Love it! Wish they had kept the first guy, I could listen to him read an auto repair book! He's wonderful! The rest were good too but I was slightly crestfallen when I realized reader #1 wasn't doing the whole book.

    - Great story and readers

The individuals reading this book were great, very articulate and entertaining to listen to. The story itself was also fantastic, an incredible story alongside interesting philosophical discussions.

This book is very well read by several narrators. I was very surprised how simple and short the story was. I highly recommend it.
