A brief history of The Great War (World War I) designed for students in grades seven and eight. Special emphasis on European history leading up to the war, reasons and events leading to America’s eventual entering the war, and possible ramifications of the war for future generations.
This "schoolbook" shed a lot of light on the events that led to WWI, the reasons that the assassination of Franz Ferdinand precipitated the war, the early years of the war and the US's entry into the conflict. As history is written by the "winners" it's somewhat biased against Germany and Austria. Still, it was a good history lesson.
