Summary

The House of the Vampire is a 1907 novella that is a very unusual vampire story. A young writer comes under the powerful influence of a mysterious older master, who seems to have left a trail of ruined proteges in his wake. The story is as much about the nature of artistic creation as it is a chilling vampire tale.

Dracula

- Wonderful Reading

I have just listened for the first time to Bram Stokers Dracula. I love Elizabeth Clats readings. Every one kept me on the edge of my seat. I also listened to Carmilla and now listening to The House of the Vampire. Love Elizabeth's reading. Very clear and keeps me interested. Thank you for the this service. Tracey L. Grant, Maine
